About the Role
The role focuses on designing, testing, and acquiring RF hardware for a major program operating on a demanding schedule. The engineer will characterize RF signals for inclusion in automated signal databases and provide technical expertise throughout the development lifecycle. • Characterize RF signals for automated signal databases. • Review requirements and test documents, evaluate performance and test results. • Advise the Government on test outcomes, design success, and risk mitigation. • Supervise contractor design, testing, analysis, and verification activities. • Participate in design reviews and provide risk assessments to the Government. • Contribute to the design and build of the RF mission payload.

What You Bring
Work will be performed on‑site with occasional travel of 10‑20% within the United States. Standard working hours follow a typical schedule, and the position is part of a collaborative, dynamic team environment. Required qualifications include an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and extensive experience: 14+ years with a BS, 12+ years with an MS, or 9+ years with a PhD in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline. Candidates must have a strong background in system design trade studies, mission requirement analysis, test development, and RF hardware design. Desired qualifications comprise at least three years of experience with customer space and RF systems acquisition or sustainment, deep understanding of RF systems engineering best practices, and direct RF hardware design experience. • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required. • 14+ years experience with BS, 12+ years with MS, or 9+ years with PhD in engineering or related field. • Experience in system design trade, mission requirement analysis, and test execution. • Proven background in RF hardware design and evaluation. • 3+ years experience in customer space and RF systems acquisition or sustainment. • Knowledge of RF systems engineering best practices and acquisition processes.
