About the Role

Core responsibilities include providing day‑to‑day administrative, technical, and operational support for the NCF, delivering instruction on approved topics, reviewing practical guides, and supervising field construction during hands‑on trade events aligned with NAVEDTRA modules and industry codes. The trainer also constructs module mock‑ups and manages schedules, materials, tools, equipment, consumables, and facility maintenance to sustain daily STT operations. • Deliver builder technical instruction and practical trade training to apprentice Seabees. • Provide daily administrative, technical, and operational support for the Naval Construction Force. • Supervise hands‑on construction events using NAVEDTRA modules and current industry codes. • Build and maintain module mock‑ups, schedules, materials, tools, equipment, and facility upkeep. • Lead instruction on topics such as masonry, concrete placement, carpentry, roofing, formwork, and drywall. • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local security procedures and obtain Secret clearance. • Operate visual‑aid equipment (projectors, smart boards, document cameras) for training. • Maintain strong customer service, communication, and team collaboration skills.

ASR International Corp. is seeking a Naval Construction Builder Technical Trainer (Seabee Technical Trainer) for Naval Construction Group ONE. The trainer provides builder technical instruction to apprentice Seabees and supports the Naval Construction Force (NCF). Required qualifications include a minimum of 8 years construction/trade experience, at least 5 years as an instructor or crew leader/project supervisor, and documented experience or certifications equivalent to NEC 805A or Master Training Specialist. Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED, possess extensive construction‑management knowledge, be proficient with Microsoft Office and MS‑Project, and be familiar with NAVEDTRA manuals, the SCM User Manual, and relevant industry codes. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance are mandatory; CPR certification and the ability to operate visual‑aid equipment are also required. Additional expectations include strong customer‑service and communication skills, the ability to work independently or in a team, solid construction‑math proficiency, capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, and familiarity with open purchase‑ordering processes. Candidates must demonstrate strong foremanship techniques and adherence to federal, state, and local security procedures. • Possess at least 8 years construction experience and 5 years as an instructor or crew leader. • Hold certifications equivalent to NEC 805A or Master Training Specialist and a high school diploma/GED. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS‑Project, and construction‑math calculations. • Hold valid CPR qualification and manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
