About the Role
In this position you will maintain and expand a service route for fire‑extinguisher, kitchen‑hood, emergency‑light and gas‑system customers. You will inspect, service, repair and install multiple suppression product lines in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications, while identifying deficiencies and providing recommendations based on codes. Additionally, you will quote, sell, and repair on‑site, up‑sell existing clients, acquire new accounts, and consistently meet or exceed sales quotas. • Maintain and grow service route for fire‑extinguishers, kitchen hoods, emergency lights, and gas systems • Inspect, service, repair and install multiple suppression product lines per safety standards • Recommend solutions based on manufacturer specs and state/local codes • Quote, sell, and repair on‑site while up‑selling compliant product offerings • Acquire new accounts based on compliance criteria • Meet or exceed sales quotas set by supervisor

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has at least one year of fire‑protection or suppression service experience, a high‑school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 40 lb, work in confined spaces and navigate ladders, plus strong customer‑service and communication abilities are required. Availability for occasional overnight travel is expected, and knowledge of NFPA standards and dangerous goods is a valuable asset. • Minimum 1 + year fire‑protection/suppression service experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver’s license • Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills • Ability to lift up to 40 lb and work in restricted areas • Strong customer service and communication abilities • Availability for occasional overnight travel • Knowledge of NFPA standards and dangerous goods (preferred)
