About the Role

• Perform thorough cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping and operating cleaning machinery. • Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies and outdoor trolley bays. • Follow all health and safety procedures. • Work early‑morning shifts (04:00‑09:00) on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with days off Wednesday and Saturday.

Arcus is hiring a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury’s Sunderland store on a fixed‑term contract until February 2026. The role offers 25 hours per week at £12.21 per hour, with an immediate start available. Sainsbury’s stores operate seven days a week, and Arcus provides flexible shift patterns across five‑ or six‑day weeks. Shifts cover early mornings, mornings, afternoons and evenings, with the current roster featuring early‑morning shifts and two days off each week.
