About the Role

The Lab Support Technician I supports day‑to‑day laboratory operations at Dyno, handling consumables, ticket management, equipment cleaning and maintenance, waste removal, gas monitoring, receiving, and lab organization. • Restock general‑use lab consumables and reagents (e.g., PPE, ethanol, sundries) outside the VMI program. • Manage ticket requests in OfficeSpace software: accept, respond, and close tickets. • Wash and autoclave lab glass and plasticware; verify equipment functionality. • Escort external vendors for weekly deliveries and technicians for equipment maintenance. • Perform equipment maintenance checks as instructed (e.g., dehumidifiers). • Remove and replace full regulated medical waste bins in the Main Accumulation Area. • Monitor and replace lab gas cylinders and liquid nitrogen dewars. • Receive shipments and retrieve packages from the loading dock. • Organize lab space as needed. • Maintain awareness of BSL‑2 lab environment hazards and complete mandatory lab safety training. • Follow all Dyno safety protocols and use required PPE provided by the company. • Provide proof of hazardous material certification upon request.

What You Bring

The role requires awareness of BSL‑2 laboratory hazards, completion of Dyno’s mandatory lab safety training, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the use of required personal protective equipment provided by the company. Preference is given to candidates with DOT/IATA certification for hazardous material shipping and international shipping experience. • Prefer candidates with DOT/IATA certification for hazardous material shipping and international shipping experience.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $24.65 to $29.00 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as health, vision, dental insurance, flexible spending and health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid time off. Pay may vary based on location, experience, collective bargaining status, and will not be below minimum wage.
