About the Role
In this role you will act as a specialist conducting field surveys with innovative methods such as drones and rope‑access, develop digital inspection tools to increase efficiency, and build internal expertise in digital twins, photogrammetry and Lidar surveys. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare and verify deliverables—including inspection reports, design studies, plans, specifications and estimates—and perform other engineering tasks as needed. • Conduct field surveys using drones, rope‑access and other innovative methods • Develop digital tools and workflows to improve survey efficiency • Build in‑house expertise in digital twins, photogrammetry, and Lidar surveys • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams (road, geotech, environment, etc.) • Prepare and verify deliverables such as inspection reports, design studies, plans, specifications, estimates and schedules

What You Bring
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on structures, possess three to five years of professional experience in inspection and field surveys, and are members of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or another provincial engineering board. Additional assets include drone pilot or rope‑access certifications (SPRAT, IRATA), a master’s degree in structures, familiarity with bridge standards (CAN/CSA‑S6) and analysis software (SAP, CSiBridge, ADA), and MTMD certifications. Fluency in French is required for Quebec‑based positions, and English fluency is also mandatory. • Bachelor's degree in engineering (structures or related) • 3–5 years experience in inspection and field surveys • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or another provincial engineering board • Drone pilot or rope‑access certification (SPRAT, IRATA) – asset • Master's degree in structures, bridge design knowledge, CAN/CSA‑S6 standards – asset • Proficiency with structural analysis software (SAP, CSiBridge, ADA, etc.) – asset • MTMD certifications (design, inspection, maintenance, construction, repair) – asset • Fluent in French (mandatory) and English (mandatory)
