About the Role
• Implement commercial strategy. • Support SQS & MQS commercial functions, including tender preparation, subcontractor selection, negotiation and management to final account. • Maintain site records, document control and site measurement records. • Prepare forecasts, targets and cost‑value reconciliations. • Conduct valuations and prepare variations with proper documentation. • Update projected final account and submit it in a timely manner. • Liaise with and commercially influence or challenge the site management team. • Protect JSS commercial and contractual entitlement. • Actively participate in cost‑value reconciliations (CVR) while maintaining an independent view. • Review risk and opportunity, and develop understanding of insurances and warranties. • Contribute to cash management to ensure good cash flow. • Support tender processes as required. • Manage and oversee AQS & TQS work, ensuring quality and responsibility. • Maintain site records and control documents.

What You Bring
The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with a range of technology platforms, and full familiarity with the Standard Method of Measurement. Candidates should demonstrate commercial ownership, effective time management, organisational, interpersonal and negotiation abilities. Applicants should hold a degree and be working toward the relevant professional accreditation such as CIOB. Knowledge of JCT contracts, letter and report writing, negotiation, CVRs, safety, and contract/commercial appreciation is essential.
