About the Role
As a Food & Beverage pool Server you will maintain a clean professional work area at all times. You will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to patrons of the grill area while following all steps of service. • Maintain a clean, professional work area in the pool grill. • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to patrons. • Comply with all state alcohol service regulations. • Serve hot and cold food promptly. • Follow the full steps of service: greet, upsell, build rapport, serve, pre-bus, thank, invite back. • Collect payments for beverages and food. • Keep the bar/grill area clutter-free and perform standard cleaning tasks. • Complete Micros end-of-shift reports. • Attend work regularly according to HGVC standards. • Fulfill reasonable requests from management.

What You Bring
You must obtain knowledge of menu items, beverage brands, cocktail recipes, varieties of beer, wine, soda, water, sugars and other prepared beverages. Serve hot and cold food to guests promptly and collect monies for both beverages and food. Keep the bar/grill area clean and free of clutter, perform general cleaning tasks using standard products, and generate end-of-shift reports in Micros. All service must adhere to state alcohol regulations. Regular attendance in conformance with HGVC standards is essential for successful performance. You will carry out all reasonable requests by management. Minimum qualifications include at least one year of bartending or serving experience in a hospitality environment and a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred credentials are an additional year of experience, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and Food Safety Certification. • Acquire knowledge of menu items, beverage brands, cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and other drinks. • Demonstrate a team-first attitude. • Possess at least one year of bartending/serving experience in hospitality. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Have Alcohol Awareness Certification (preferred). • Have Food Safety Certification (preferred).
