About the Role
The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor, performing a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures. Typical responsibilities include maintaining interior floors, surfaces, and furnishings; cleaning bathrooms and restocking supplies; managing building trash and snow removal; and performing periodic tasks such as high‑dusting, polishing, and wall washing. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors and surfaces. • Operate floor buffers, shampoo machines, and commercial vacuums on rugs and carpets. • Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, and light fixtures. • Wash interior glass, windowsills, and entrance door glass; spot‑clean walls daily. • Clean and restock bathrooms, including wiping glass, emptying waste baskets, and servicing dispensers. • Monitor and report defects such as clogged urinals or non‑functional lights. • Collect building trash, replace liners, and place containers for removal. • Sweep or shovel snow from steps, walkways, and entrances as directed. • Perform periodic high‑dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing. • Take direction, work with minimal supervision, and contribute cooperatively as a team member.
