About the Role

As a Project Quality Specialist, you will report to the Regional Quality Manager and ensure effective application of the Baker Hughes Quality Management System (QMS) in the project and supplier environment to meet technical requirements. You will handle quality activities across your Centre of Excellence and engage directly with customers and suppliers for problem solving, quality reporting, and improvement. The role includes closing supplier nonconformities, managing contractors, investigating supplier‑related failures, qualifying new raw materials, handling quality concerns, participating in engineering change analysis, interpreting technical drawings, managing inspection notifications, creating quality plans, leading API Q1 compliance activities, overseeing non‑conformance and concession approvals, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and preparing quality performance reports. • Close supplier nonconformities and assess need for investigation • Manage contractors and investigate supplier‑related failures • Qualify new raw materials and develop Supplier Inspection and Testing Plans • Address quality concerns, stop‑line actions, and non‑conformities • Participate in engineering change analysis • Interpret technical drawings and coordinate with international teams in English • Manage notification of inspection processes • Create quality plans incorporating customer and regulatory requirements • Lead API Q1 (10th edition) service provider assessments, qualifications, monitoring, and re‑evaluation • Oversee non‑conformance and concession approvals to meet contract requirements • Communicate project information with internal and external customers and build relationships • Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and SQE teams to ensure project quality • Prepare and present quality performance reports to leadership and customers
