About the Role

The role includes supporting the management of construction materials testing projects, such as daily report review, collaborating with senior staff, resolving issues as they arise, and training field staff. You will manage project budgets, prepare invoices and change orders, and assist with collection efforts. You will assist in preparing proposals for projects and may perform laboratory testing, soil classification, and testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post‑tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, and asphalt pavement as needed. • Support management of CMT projects through daily report reviews and issue resolution. • Collaborate with senior staff and train field personnel on project tasks. • Manage project budgets, invoices, change orders, and assist with collections. • Prepare project proposals and assist with laboratory and field testing activities. • Perform testing of soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, and asphalt pavement as required.

What You Bring

Required qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology, a valid driver’s license and insurance, and a willingness to obtain advanced licensure (EIT, PE, etc). Candidates should have strong communication skills, an understanding of heavy construction safety practices, functional knowledge of CMT principles and ASTM standards, and the ability to work effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors. • Hold a B.S. in Civil, Construction Engineering, Materials Science, Architectural Engineering, or Geology. • Maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance, and commitment to obtain EIT/PE licensure. • Demonstrate strong communication, safety knowledge, and understanding of CMT and ASTM standards. • Work effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.
