About the Role
Join Sainsbury’s Clean team at Arcus as a part‑time in‑store Cleaner for the Torquay Car Park store. The role is fixed‑term, 15 hours per week, paid at £12.21 per hour, with an immediate start available. Cleaners help ensure a sparkling, customer‑focused environment and work as part of a supportive team. You will be responsible for maintaining the store’s cleanliness and safety through daily cleaning activities. Full training will be provided to ensure you meet Arcus’s high standards. • Operate cleaning machinery and perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping. • Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies inside the store. • Maintain external areas such as trolley bays, removing leaves and debris. • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times. • Provide a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect attendance app.

What You Bring
We seek candidates with a strong eye for detail, a positive attitude, and a smartphone with NFC capability to use the Arcus Connect app for time and attendance. Previous cleaning experience is advantageous but not required, as on‑the‑job training will be given. • Prior cleaning experience is beneficial; attention to detail and positive attitude required.

Sainsbury’s stores operate seven days a week, and Arcus offers flexible shift patterns, including early‑morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. The current schedule is Monday 06:00‑08:00, Tuesday 06:00‑09:00, Wednesday 14:00‑17:00, Thursday 06:00‑08:00, Friday 06:00‑09:00, Saturday 06:00‑08:00, with Sunday off. Overtime opportunities are also available to increase hours.
