About the Role

In this role you will rely on experience and judgment to assign job plans and achieve departmental goals while managing all maintenance team members on site. You will promote C&W Services internally and externally, develop standards and work procedures, and provide feedback on work order discrepancies. The position also acts as a liaison to account managers, planners, customers, and other departments, ensuring compliance with company and customer regulations. Coaching, mentoring, and overseeing QA/QC inspection protocols are essential to meet performance expectations. • Assign job plans and oversee maintenance team to meet departmental goals • Develop and enforce standards, work procedures, and QA/QC inspection protocols • Serve as liaison between account managers, planners, customers, and internal departments • Provide one‑on‑one coaching, mentoring, and performance appraisals for staff • Ensure compliance with all company, customer regulations, codes, and specifications • Maintain positive customer and employee relations • Operate heavy industrial equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts) safely • Work flexible shifts, including holidays and weekends as needed

The company is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead repair and preventive/predictive maintenance for electrical and mechanical equipment, especially conveyor and sorting systems, in fast‑growing logistics and fulfillment facilities. Expertise with conveyor systems is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or a related field is preferred, although at least three to five years of transferable management experience is required. Candidates must be able to obtain CMRP or ICML MLT‑1 certification and possess working knowledge of electrical and mechanical repairs, basic and power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, and parts identification. Ability to operate heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and boom lifts is required, as is flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends. Strong customer and employee relations skills are also necessary. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3‑5 years of management experience • Obtain CMRP or ICML MLT‑1 certification and demonstrate expertise in electrical/mechanical maintenance
