About the Role

Interns will rotate through functional areas such as Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration, executing project deliverables identified by functional leaders. They will analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop professional documents and communications to share findings with key stakeholders. Throughout the internship, participants will engage with employees and leadership teams to understand business drivers, influence financial outcomes, and contribute to strategic decision‑making while adhering to a formal training curriculum. • Rotate through Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, and Administration. • Execute and present project deliverables to key stakeholders. • Analyze business processes to identify improvement and growth opportunities. • Develop professional documents and communications on project outcomes. • Engage with employees and leadership to understand business drivers and challenges. • Contribute to financial outcomes and strategic decision‑making. • Complete all training curriculum tasks within the internship timeframe.

Applicants must be enrolled in the first year of an accredited MBA program and be able to commit to a full‑time, 10‑week internship beginning in June. The General Manager MBA Internship – Summer 2026 is not sponsorship‑eligible, and the hiring process will begin reviewing resumes in November with interviews in January 2026. The internship cohort for summer 2026 will be offered at multiple locations across the United States, including Richmond, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Anaheim, CA; Las Vegas, NV; San Antonio, TX; Galena, KS; Crestwood, IL; Detroit, MI; Elyria, OH; Birmingham, AL; Washington, DC; Peabody, MA; St. Louis, MO (recycling specific); Robstown, TX (recycling specific); Boston, MA (Environmental Solutions); and other Environmental Solutions sites. • Demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills. • Be enrolled in the first year of an accredited MBA program.
