About the Role
In this role the incumbent will be responsible for developing cost plans, monitoring expenditures, producing variance analyses and executive dashboards, and overseeing change-order management. They will work closely with finance, procurement and scheduling teams to integrate cost and schedule data, track progress against baselines, and communicate impacts on budget and contingency. Regular status updates and presentations to senior stakeholders will be required, along with compliance audits and governance reviews, including SOX controls where applicable. • Develop and maintain detailed cost plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with project scope and contracts. • Monitor and control project costs, track actuals against forecasts, and implement corrective actions. • Prepare cost reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards with clear recommendations. • Review and validate change orders, ensuring proper documentation, cost impact analysis, and governance compliance. • Support procurement by analyzing bids, validating cost data, and ensuring commercial compliance. • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to manage invoicing, accrual reporting, and PO financial closeout. • Maintain benchmarking data, historical cost records, and lessons learned for continuous improvement. • Assist with schedule development and updates, integrating cost and schedule data for performance tracking. • Monitor schedule progress against baseline, identify potential delays, and assess cost and contingency impacts. • Provide regular status updates and executive presentations summarizing cost, schedule, risks, and recommended actions. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, regulatory requirements, and conduct audits. • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

What You Bring
Candidates must be able to work onsite in Tulsa and hold a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field. At least seven years of project controls experience, with strong cost-management and scheduling expertise on large construction projects—ideally mission-critical facilities such as data centres—is required. Proficiency with cost-management tools, financial forecasting systems and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is essential, as are strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-presentation skills. PMP, PMI-SP, AACE or RICS accreditation is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field. • 7+ years of project controls experience with strong cost management and scheduling expertise. • Proven ability to integrate cost and schedule on large-scale construction projects, preferably data centers. • Advanced proficiency with cost management tools, financial forecasting systems, Primavera P6, and MS Project. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑orientation skills. • Excellent communication and senior stakeholder presentation abilities. • Preferred PMP, PMI‑SP, AACE, or RICS accreditation.
