About the Role
The role involves operating injection molding machines, including startup, shutdown, and parameter setting. You will set and adjust machine settings according to approved process sheets, carry out mold changeovers safely and accurately, and continuously monitor cycle time, part quality, and machine condition. Any product defects such as short fill, flash, or burn marks must be addressed promptly, and abnormal conditions reported to the maintenance or engineering team. • Perform startup, shutdown, and parameter setting of injection molding machines. • Set and adjust machine settings per approved process sheets. • Carry out mold changeovers safely and accurately. • Monitor product quality, addressing defects like short fill, flash, or burn marks. • Continuously track cycle time, part quality, and machine condition; report abnormalities to maintenance/engineering. • Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions. • Assist with weekly and monthly efficiency loss and rejection analysis. • Utilize lifelong learning resources, including the Lean Academy and online university certifications. • Contribute to purpose‑driven initiatives, volunteerism, and sustainable business practices.
