About the Role
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing regional talent management strategies (build, buy, borrow, bot) aligned with global frameworks, leading talent reviews, succession planning and development processes, and analysing internal and external talent data to drive retention and capability decisions. The position acts as the primary liaison between ANZ and global talent functions, oversees AECOM University learning governance, and coaches senior talent while embedding talent principles across managers. It also drives DEI initiatives, monitors employee engagement through pulse surveys, and recommends actions to improve experience and retention. Additional duties cover performance and promotions reporting, managing promotion workflows and analysis, delivering virtual instructor‑led training and mentoring programs for graduates and interns, and maintaining onboarding materials and the Discover AECOM program. • Develop and execute regional talent management strategies aligned with global frameworks. • Lead cyclical talent reviews, succession planning, and development processes for ANZ. • Analyze talent data to inform retention, succession, and capability strategies. • Partner with business leaders to forecast talent needs and create actionable plans. • Serve as liaison between ANZ region and global talent teams, ensuring alignment. • Oversee AECOM University learning governance and leadership development programs. • Coach top talent and embed talent principles across managers and leaders. • Drive identification, development, and retention of high‑potential employees and future leaders. • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within talent management initiatives. • Manage employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and support action planning. • Support performance and promotions reporting, workflow design, and regional analysis. • Lead scheduling and delivery of virtual instructor‑led trainings and events for graduates and interns. • Manage onboarding materials and the Discover AECOM program governance.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an appropriate tertiary qualification in business or a related field and possess at least seven years of relevant talent management experience. Required skills include designing succession and leadership development strategies, advanced data analysis and storytelling using Excel and PowerPoint, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage cross‑functional projects. • Hold a tertiary qualification in Business or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate advanced Excel and PowerPoint storytelling, commercial acumen, and project‑management excellence.
