About the Role
The role involves operating or learning to operate a pit loader to transport raw materials, feed the plant, and load trucks while maintaining stockpiles. The employee will perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment, follow all safety protocols, communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, and assist with other tasks to support plant operations. The work environment includes operating moving mechanical equipment in inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. • Operate pit loader to transport raw materials and load trucks. • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. • Assist with additional tasks to support plant operations. • Operate in environments with moving equipment, inclement weather, temperature extremes, humidity, and high noise levels.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance, can work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, and possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills. A commitment to safety, compliance with regulations, flexibility to work various shifts and overtime, punctuality, and reliable transportation are also required. Willingness to work up to 10‑12 hours per day, six days per week when needed is expected. Successful candidates must undergo a post‑offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check; some positions require FMCSA‑regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. • Demonstrate strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance. • Work in fast‑paced, physically demanding settings. • Exhibit excellent communication, teamwork, punctuality, and reliable transportation. • Flexibility to work varied shifts, overtime, up to 10‑12 hours/day, six days a week. • Complete pre‑employment physical, drug/alcohol screening, and background check; some roles require FMCSA testing.
