About the Role

• Carry out day‑to‑day responsive repairs across social housing properties • Replace or repair skirting boards, architraves, and internal door frames • Install and adjust kitchen units, worktops, and cupboard doors • Repair or replace internal doors, handles, locks, and hinges • Identify and fix minor plumbing issues such as leaks, dripping taps, and blocked sinks • Patch plaster and make good damaged walls or ceilings • Complete wall and floor tiling repairs, including grouting and sealing • Paint and decorate to a professional finish after repairs • Follow Awaab’s law and complete repairs efficiently • Ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard • Work sensitively in occupied properties, respecting residents’ privacy • Participate in out‑of‑hours emergency repair rota as required • Report further works, safeguarding concerns, or property issues beyond scope • Deliver excellent customer service while working in residents' homes • Accurately record job details, materials used, and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working order • Manage daily workload efficiently to meet service level targets • Provide excellent customer service in occupied homes • Use handheld devices or job management systems to record work

What You Bring

We are seeking a versatile Multi‑Skilled Operative to support a busy responsive repairs contract for social housing. The role involves delivering high‑quality repairs and maintenance across occupied properties, covering carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and other trades, while ensuring homes are safe, functional and well cared for. All candidates must have the right to work in the UK, a full UK driving licence, and will be subject to background, identity and security checks. Benefits
