About the Role
You will develop, lead, and manage a team of engineers, architects, and project managers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence. You will oversee all operations related to building envelope, structural systems, due diligence, and code compliance, managing projects from inception to completion, including proposal preparation, technical report reviews, and departmental P&L performance. Additionally, you will drive business development by building strong client relationships, leading marketing initiatives, and partnering with the internal recruiting team to attract, hire, and retain top talent. • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and project managers. • Oversee building envelope, structural systems, due diligence, and code compliance projects from proposal to completion. • Manage departmental P&L and ensure technical report quality. • Drive business development through client relationship building and marketing initiatives. • Partner with recruiting to attract, hire, and retain top talent.

What You Bring
ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to join the Southwest Building Science and Infrastructure team in Oklahoma City, OK. In this role, you’ll oversee operations related to building enclosure, structural systems, due diligence, and building code compliance throughout Oklahoma and surrounding metro areas. If you have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the drive to grow a department, we want to hear from you. Qualifications include a B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board, or a BS in Engineering, Building Science, or a related field from an ABET‑accredited institution, and at least eight years of experience in building envelope consulting. • Require minimum 8 years of building envelope consulting experience; B.Arch/M.Arch (NCARB) or BS Engineering/Building Science preferred.
