About the Role

• Support pursuit teams in crafting persuasive proposals and interview materials • Monitor client and industry websites for solicitation status • File proposal and presentation materials after submission • Manage CRM and financial systems to provide reporting metrics and dashboards • Maintain accurate project and resume data in business development systems • Arrange professional photography for projects • Contribute to annual and long‑term strategic plans, including growth initiatives and investment prioritization • Implement key growth initiatives and client plans to capture market share • Administer the go/no‑go decision process per HDR’s Matrix of Authority • Support content marketing campaigns that strengthen HDR’s brand and visibility • Develop and publish engaging digital content that showcases HDR’s thought leadership • Elevate HDR’s brand and technical talent through industry association strategies • Create marketing collateral to aid business development • Develop engaging internal communications (announcements, presentations, videos, webinars) • Plan and coordinate large internal meetings (in‑person or virtual) • Maintain inventory of branded materials for client visits, conferences, and recruiting • Train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices

What You Bring

The role is subject to a governmental background check and, due to client contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is required. • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a related field • 8+ years of relevant A/E/C industry experience • Experience with US Government federal programs, preferably DoD • Deep knowledge of A/E/C procurement of professional services • Understanding of regional marketing and public relations • Knowledge of capture planning and proposal development processes • Ability and desire to travel and engage in‑person • Ability to pass background check for a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign) • Self‑starter with a track record of completing projects with limited oversight
