About the Role
In this high‑level role, you will lead the pursuit, win, and execution of pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory, and medical device projects while managing the regional life‑science team, developing business plans, and coordinating target pursuits across the organization. The position reports directly to the regional leader of the firm. • Build and lead regional staff while maintaining client satisfaction. • Generate new revenue and expand existing streams, targeting $1‑3 million annually. • Develop and manage regional practice area business plan aligned with national strategy. • Track leads, forecast pipeline, create winning strategies, and assemble project teams. • Network with architects, PM/CM firms, general contractors, and prospective clients. • Ensure technical excellence of project delivery and resolve complex issues. • Oversee project financials, reporting, and inter‑office coordination. • Lead sales presentations and promote integrated services. • Produce articles, white papers, and present at industry conferences. • Recruit senior staff with market‑specific expertise and mentor direct reports.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience). • 15+ years Life Science design experience; at least 5 years in consulting/A‑E firm. • Minimum 7 years of management experience. • 7+ years developing engineering business. • Deep knowledge of MEP systems; PE licensure preferred. • Strong leadership, client‑strategy insight, and problem‑anticipation abilities. • Excellent communication, relationship building, and multitasking skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
