Manage transportation design staff/projects, ensure quality, budget, client relations

About the Role
• Establish and monitor project schedules, budgets, and staffing for transportation design work. • Mentor and train engineering staff. • Create and execute business plans for the transportation group. • Market NV5 services to NYSDOT, local municipalities, and other prospective clients to win contracts. • Participate in professional associations and societies. • Collaborate with the Long Island Director to achieve department objectives.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a New York PE license. • Possess 10‑15 years of transportation/highway design experience, including at least 5 years in management. • Have a minimum of 4 years of business development experience within the transportation market. • Proficient in MicroStation or AutoCAD; experienced with Civil 3D or OpenRoads and Microsoft Office Suite. • Experience with NYSDOT projects and municipal roadway improvements; Long Island experience preferred. • Maintain a valid driver’s license.

Benefits
The position offers a base salary ranging from $125,000 to $150,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and expertise.
