About the Role

We are hiring a Chief of Staff for AEC Experience & Analytics (XA) to partner closely with the VP of Experience & Analytics. This senior individual contributor will help shape, operationalize, and deliver Autodesk’s future AEC user experiences, combining product thinking, operational excellence, and cross‑functional influence. The role sits at the intersection of design, product, data, AI, and research and reports to the VP of Experience & Analytics. As a strategic advisor, the Chief of Staff will act as a force multiplier for the VP, driving clarity, alignment, and momentum across experience strategy, personalization, insight, and ways of working. Responsibilities include developing executive‑ready narratives, coordinating cross‑functional execution toward integrated agentic experiences, and ensuring initiatives around growth, onboarding, trust, and engagement are embedded in the strategy. The role also connects design, data, AI, and product teams to scale personalization and AI‑driven experiences, translating technical work into clear decision‑ready insights and embedding personas and critical user journeys into planning. Additionally, the Chief of Staff partners with the XA Design Operations Manager to own planning rhythms, OKRs, dashboards, and to lead complex initiatives from definition through execution. • Partner with the VP of Experience & Analytics to shape strategy and drive execution. • Develop executive‑ready narratives, operating reviews, and clear communications. • Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives on personalization, AI, and insight scaling. • Define success metrics for UX quality, design systems, and craftsmanship. • Lead complex initiatives from problem definition through execution. • Identify and implement process, tooling, and system improvements for scale and quality. • Foster an inclusive, high‑trust culture and enable AI‑driven ways of working.

What You Bring

Success is measured by clear, well‑sequenced XA priorities, tight linkage between experience strategy and product delivery, and visible influence of personalization and insight on product decisions. The organization should operate with clarity, quality, and momentum, with cross‑functional partners viewing XA as a strategic product partner. Minimum qualifications include 8–12+ years of experience in product strategy, operations, design ops, program management, or management consulting, a proven record of leading complex cross‑functional initiatives, strong product and systems thinking, and exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred qualifications include experience supporting product, design, or platform teams at scale and a background in AI‑enabled products. • Translate experience vision into outcome‑driven, integrated agentic product deliveries. • Own XA planning rhythms, OKRs, dashboards, and operating cadences. • 8–12+ years experience in product strategy, operations, design ops, or management consulting. • Proven track record leading complex cross‑functional product initiatives. • Strong product and systems thinking with fluency in design, research, data, and AI. • Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills. • Preferred: experience supporting product, design, or platform teams at scale; background in AI‑enabled products.

Autodesk offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary range of $155,000–$250,690, plus bonuses, stock grants, and comprehensive benefits.
