About the Role

In this position, the manager drives revenue by selling WM services using inside‑sales tactics and by developing and executing sales and marketing programs that meet current and future customer needs. The manager also provides guidance and direction to Inside Sales Team members to ensure consistent performance. Key duties include reinforcing corporate sales strategy, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and collaborating with the Market Area Sales Manager to resolve unique issues. The manager supervises daily activities, sets and monitors call‑activity goals, forecasts staffing needs, recruits qualified candidates, and delivers both formal training and informal coaching. Additionally, the manager ensures accurate customer records, supports pricing and service strategies, and works with the Area Sales Manager to develop upsell and cross‑sell initiatives. The role entails direct supervision of twelve full‑time employees, including Account Executives and a Program Manager, ensuring they meet performance expectations. The manager provides ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance assessments to foster team growth. • Lead and coach a 12‑person Inside Sales team in the Great Lakes Area. • Implement sales strategies to generate revenue, upsell, and cross‑sell WM services. • Maintain high customer satisfaction and resolve unique issues with the Market Area Sales Manager. • Supervise daily sales activities, set call‑activity goals, and monitor performance. • Forecast staffing needs, recruit qualified candidates, and provide ongoing training and coaching. • Ensure accurate maintenance of customer records, contracts, and service documentation. • Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager to develop pricing, service, and upsell strategies.
