About the Role
The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. This role assists in maintenance and repair efforts and independently performs defined tasks, including interior and exterior inspections of walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting. Daily duties include general maintenance such as lighting upkeep, minor plumbing repairs, and interior fixes like hanging pictures or installing keyboard trays. The mechanic also handles special tasks—painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests—moves furniture and equipment, conducts facility inspections, and complies with safety procedures and relevant codes. Documentation of work performance and material procurement is required, and the role includes on‑call after‑hours emergency response. • Perform general maintenance tasks including lighting upkeep, minor plumbing repairs, and interior fixes such as hanging pictures or installing keyboard trays. • Handle special tasks like painting, locksmith work, and tenant service requests, and move office furniture and equipment as needed. • Conduct facility inspections, report conditions affecting occupancy, and ensure compliance with safety procedures, codes, and hazardous material handling. • Document work performance and material procurement, and respond to after‑hours emergencies as part of on‑call duties.

What You Bring
Candidates need at least three years of experience in building repair, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work, along with a valid state driver’s license. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 80 lb and use ladders up to 30 ft, and strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with excellent English communication skills. Completion of a technical training program is preferred, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Require at least 3 years of building repair, basic plumbing and electrical experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 80 lb, and use ladders up to 30 ft. • Preferred completion of a technical training program; must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
