About the Role

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain LED, fluorescent, HID, and control lighting systems. • Respond to service calls for outages, ballast/driver failures, wiring issues, and control malfunctions. • Install fixtures, lamps, drivers, ballasts, sensors, and lighting controls. • Perform preventative maintenance inspections to ensure reliability and efficiency. • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications. • Safely operate lifts, ladders, and other equipment. • Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations. • Communicate repair details, recommendations, and timelines to customers. • Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately. • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition. • Work indoor and outdoor in various weather conditions, including occasional evenings or weekends.

What You Bring

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lighting Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair interior and exterior lighting systems for commercial clients. The ideal candidate possesses strong electrical knowledge, prioritizes safety, and delivers high‑quality service. • Travel up to 50 % of the time using a company vehicle. • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school preferred. • Minimum 2 years lighting or electrical service experience. • Strong understanding of electrical systems and lighting controls. • Ability to troubleshoot efficiently and work independently. • Valid driver’s license; able to lift up to 50 lb and work at heights. • Excellent problem‑solving and customer service skills. • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
