Contingent Labour Lead - Germany
Lead design & implementation of future-fit contingent labour model for Germany.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The Contingent Labour Lead for Germany will design and implement a future‑fit contingent labour operating model across Germany, based in the GBS Operating Centre in Krakow, acting as the country subject‑matter expert for non‑permanent labour and leading a significant change programme. In the discovery phase, the lead will assess current contingent labour usage, mapping end‑to‑end processes, policies, governance, supplier landscape, spend drivers, and compliance risks to develop a fact base highlighting inefficiencies and opportunities for simplification and value creation. Partnering with the Global Programme Lead, the role will design a scalable, efficient model that complies with German labour law, prioritises a simple hiring‑manager experience, and collaborates with People and Procurement to deliver a best‑in‑class end‑to‑end solution. The lead will support the design and execution of RFPs and tenders, providing deep expertise on the German contingent labour market, contributing to supplier selection, commercial negotiations and contracting strategy. Implementation responsibilities include process design, VMS rollout (ideally VNDLY), supplier onboarding, communications, training and adoption, while acting as a visible leader engaging senior stakeholders throughout the transformation journey. Ongoing duties involve ensuring compliance with German labour law and co‑employment regulations, establishing governance and performance frameworks, and driving continuous improvement through data insights and stakeholder feedback. • Lead discovery and current state assessment of Germany’s contingent labour usage, including processes, policies, spend analysis, and compliance risks. • Design a scalable, compliant future‑fit contingent labour operating model centred on hiring‑manager experience. • Drive RFP design, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contracting for contingent labour services. • Oversee implementation of the new model: process redesign, VMS (VNDLY) deployment, supplier onboarding, and change‑management communications. • Establish governance, reporting and performance frameworks to ensure ongoing compliance with German labour law. • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across HR, Procurement and business leaders to secure adoption.
