About the Role

The Community Manager reports to the Regional Manager and oversees all on‑site operations of a housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration and risk management, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety and fair‑housing guidelines. • Supervise on‑site staff, handle hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, performance issues and compliance with company standards. • Achieve optimal net operating income by controlling costs, improving revenue, preparing budgets, and monitoring rent collection and vendor invoicing. • Create and execute annual marketing and leasing plans, conduct showings, process lease paperwork, address resident concerns, and implement retention programs. • Oversee administrative reporting, lead emergency response teams, ensure timely maintenance request resolution, and maintain property appearance through regular inspections. • Direct maintenance, construction and rehabilitation projects, obtain bids, and verify quality and expediency of work.

What You Bring

• Require High School Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) with 1‑4 years housing industry experience; CAM or ARM certification preferred. • Must possess basic computer skills, knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations, and ability to use on‑site software. • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, climb ladders, operate machinery, and work in various weather and confined‑space conditions; available for overtime, weekends and on‑call emergencies. • Reliable transportation required for emergency on‑call duties.
