About the Role
The current opportunity is for an HVAC Service Technician who will handle service work and site maintenance for national accounts. The role involves servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, and performing diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, site surveys, and modifications as needed. • Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction • Use hand tools and read blueprints or engineering specs to diagnose and repair units • Identify, analyze, and repair systems and products at customer locations • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed • Prepare for on‑site installations by reviewing building layouts, gathering materials, and coordinating work • Inspect and maintain company vehicles, keeping records of service and cleanliness • Inspect equipment for wear and notify customers or Operations Manager of findings • Complete and file paperwork for each job, including daily time, progress, and duration • Order parts for repairs and manage timeliness of needs • Record parts, material, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources • Submit all required paperwork and reports promptly • Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair • Read and interpret product specifications • Provide technical support to customers • Travel regularly, with occasional overnight trips
