About the Role

The Container Welder/Fabricator repairs, paints, and maintains front, rear, and roll‑off containers for Republic Services, ensuring they meet operational standards. • Repair and maintain front, rear, and roll‑off containers. • Weld steel and aluminum components using MIG and ARC welding equipment. • Fabricate steel components with brake, shear, plasma cutter, or torch. • Install lids, wheels, and company safety decals on containers. • Paint repaired containers to restore appearance. • Follow all safety policies, complete required paperwork, and install decals per standard diagrams. • Refer complex repairs to the supervisor.

What You Bring

This role requires skilled welding of steel and aluminum using MIG and ARC equipment, fabrication of components with brakes, shears, plasma cutters, or torches, and the installation of lids, wheels, and safety decals. Candidates must be certified welders with advanced knowledge of welding equipment, hand tools, and airless paint sprayers, plus strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Applicants need at least one year of welding experience or completion of a welding program, and they will receive comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation. • Hold a certified welder credential and possess advanced knowledge of MIG, stick welders, plasma cutter, and airless paint sprayers. • Proficient with basic hand tools and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Minimum of 1 year welding experience or successful completion of a welding program.
