About the Role
Assistant Property Manager at Multifamily Forum on San Felipe is responsible for maintaining communities to a market‑ready standard and delivering high‑level service while building and motivating high‑performing teams. The Assistant Property Manager supports the Property Manager with a wide range of operational tasks, including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. This support extends to delivering superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects, completing lease paperwork, and tracking advertising and prospect traffic. In addition to operational duties, the role involves managing the on‑site team by interviewing, hiring, coaching, and ensuring compliance with Cushman & Wakefield policies. The Assistant Property Manager also maintains resident files, resolves conflicts promptly, and oversees the community’s budget and financial performance, working closely with leasing staff to achieve marketing and leasing goals. • Maintain community to market‑ready standards and ensure high‑level service. • Assist Property Manager with operations: maintenance, capital projects, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy planning, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. • Deliver superior customer service to residents and prospects to boost satisfaction, renewals, and revenue. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork in line with company standards. • Track advertising performance and prospect traffic. • Model and uphold Cushman & Wakefield’s mission and policies. • Supervise, interview, hire, and coach on‑site staff while ensuring policy compliance. • Maintain accurate resident files and resolve conflicts promptly. • Manage community budget, finances, and expense controls. • Collaborate with leasing team to meet leasing and marketing targets. • Set staff goals, monitor performance, and improve team outcomes.

What You Bring
Required competencies include effective communication, strong customer service, computer literacy (Microsoft Office), office and bookkeeping skills, goal‑setting, supervision, and team management. Education requirements are a high school diploma or GED (required) and a bachelor’s degree (preferred); candidates need at least three years of property‑management experience and one year of management experience. • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication and proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Hold a high‑school diploma (GED) required; bachelor’s preferred; 3 + years property management and 1 + year management experience. • Ability to travel up to 15 % and handle physical demands such as standing, walking, and lifting 25 lb.
