Structural Engineer III
Design & analyze marine and waterfront structures for ports & coastal projects
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Perform structural analysis and design for marine and waterfront structures such as ports, wharves, piers, bulkheads, and retaining walls. • Prepare structural calculations, technical memoranda, design reports, and supporting documentation in line with client standards. • Develop plans, details, and specifications in coordination with senior engineers and designers. • Apply applicable codes, standards, and guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance and safety. • Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, coastal, and construction professionals for integrated project delivery. • Participate in quality control processes and respond to review comments under senior supervision. • Support projects from conceptual and preliminary design through final design and construction phases. • Maintain organized project files and documentation per AECOM quality management procedures. • Utilize SAP2000, MathCAD, and Microsoft Excel for structural analysis and calculations. • Produce design documentation using AutoCAD or Revit and generate clear engineering reports.

What You Bring
• Hold a BA/BS in engineering with at least four years of structural engineering experience; Master’s degree preferred. • Experience with infrastructure, transportation, marine, or waterfront projects is a plus. • Demonstrate strong teamwork, attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication.

Sponsorship is available for this position, and the compensation range is $90,000 to $150,000 annually with a hybrid work model.
