About the Role
The Stormwater EIT/Coordinator role supports project engineers in designing water‑resource projects for federal, state, and local municipalities. The position emphasizes hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, stormwater system analysis, data collection, and the preparation of technical presentations and reports. • Assist project engineers with design engineering and modeling for water‑resource projects. • Perform hydraulic and hydrologic modeling of stormwater collection systems. • Collect, assimilate, and present project data. • Contribute to flood control, river design, dike, levee, and stream restoration projects. • Produce design calculations, draft technical reports, and conduct water‑resources studies.

What You Bring
Candidates are expected to hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field and possess proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software. An Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification is preferred, and those without it will begin as Design Coordinators with an expectation to obtain the credential. • Hold an Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate (or obtain it while in the Design Coordinator role). • Possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software. • Self‑motivated and able to work independently and within a team.
