About the Role
Key responsibilities include providing on‑site technical assistance, diagnosing PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, and control system issues, and responding promptly to service calls and emergencies. The role also involves supporting the installation, testing, and commissioning of automation equipment, configuring PLCs, HMIs, drives, and field instruments, and validating system performance against design specifications. Maintenance duties cover preventive, corrective, and breakdown tasks, root‑cause analysis, and helping customers improve system reliability. Additionally, the engineer will act as a technical liaison, train operators and maintenance staff, prepare detailed service reports, and maintain up‑to‑date documentation while adhering to safety and compliance standards. • Provide on‑site and remote technical support for automation systems. • Diagnose and resolve PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, and control system issues. • Install, test, and commission PLCs, HMIs, drives, and field instruments. • Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance; conduct root‑cause analysis. • Train customer operators and maintenance teams on system usage. • Prepare service, maintenance, and root‑cause analysis reports; update documentation. • Follow site safety rules, electrical standards, and compliance protocols.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering and possess 2–5+ years of experience in field service or maintenance of industrial automation. Required technical skills include PLC troubleshooting and basic programming (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider, ABB), SCADA/HMI support, knowledge of drives, motors, sensors, industrial instrumentation, and familiarity with communication protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, and Modbus. A basic understanding of electrical panels and wiring diagrams is also essential. The role demands strong customer‑service orientation, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work independently on customer sites. Frequent travel, willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and on‑call support, as well as a calm, structured approach during breakdowns, are required.
