About the Role

Our continued growth creates demand for a Life Safety Electronic Service Sales Representative. In this field sales position you will represent Johnson Controls and sell electronic fire service solutions to customers within an assigned territory. You will manage the entire sales process, from uncovering opportunities to delivering ongoing service, while coordinating with technical, design, and support teams. • Manage full sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and service delivery. • Develop solution/value propositions, design proposals, and financial justifications for electronic fire service offerings. • Collaborate with sales, engineering, service, and management teams to meet customer needs. • Act as account representative, coordinating installations, training, and ongoing customer support. • Conduct building surveys and create estimates to support proposals. • Maintain an active proposal backlog and achieve designated sales targets. • Resolve customer issues related to delivery, billing, financing, and service. • Perform regular market investigations, forecast sales, and identify new applications within the territory. • Keep accurate records of all sales activities.

What You Bring

• 3-5 years of proven sales success, preferably in life safety or electronic services. • Highly self‑motivated, energetic, and customer‑focused with strong discipline. • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and persuasion skills. • Ability to obtain required licenses and NICET certification within 12 months. • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related field preferred. • Experience working with electrical contractors and reading blueprints/wiring diagrams. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, job costing systems, and preferably Oracle. • Ability to develop financial justifications and present proposals effectively.
