About the Role

As an Electrical Foreman, you serve as the critical bridge between project design and field execution. You will lead a crew of electricians, translating complex schematics into safe, high‑functioning electrical systems while rigorously adhering to NEC standards and safety protocols. The role emphasizes mentorship, deadline management, and solving technical challenges on a dynamic job site. The Electrical Foreman acts as the liaison between workers and supervisors, providing comprehensive onsite technical direction that aligns with the contract scope for the trade. This position ensures that crew activities are coordinated, resources are allocated, and project standards are met while maintaining a safe work environment. • Perform duties and maintain tools from Apprentice 1 through Leadman. • Ensure a safe work environment for all on‑site personnel. • Oversee scheduling, coordination, and supervision of trade crew activities. • Work within trade‑specific project budget parameters. • Develop and enforce on‑site quality standards. • Plan trade installation approaches and procedures. • Assist in preparing the production schedule. • Estimate remaining hours to complete jobs. • Participate in performance appraisals. • Liaise with leadership as needed. • Schedule daily and weekly trade activities. • Manage material, tool, and equipment requisitions. • Provide adequate resources and staffing to meet safety and schedule needs. • Maintain positive professional relationships with customers and internal teams. • Resolve conflicts. • Complete daily logs documenting job progress.

What You Bring

• Use Bluebeam efficiently. • High school diploma/GED; associate’s degree or trade school graduation preferred. • Minimum Journeyman Electrical License or equivalent experience. • Knowledge of construction equipment and ability to read blueprints, specifications, plans, and schematics. • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and team‑building skills. • Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning and guiding programs. • Proven ability to manage and lead a crew. • NFPA 70E training completed. • OSHA 30 certification. • Ability to comply with company safety policies and stop work for unsafe conditions. • Capability to work in varied environments (outdoors, dusty, noisy, high places, confined spaces) and all weather. • Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lb occasionally and perform climbing, squatting, kneeling tasks. • Working knowledge of trade materials and tools.
