About the Role

***THIS IS MAINTENANCE*** NO PER DIEM. Instrument technicians are responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating electronic equipment and gauges that control, regulate, and/or monitor a mechanical system. Technicians must follow all company and project policies, perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and testing, and document all work in reports. The position may involve working at heights up to 300 ft with proper fall protection, outdoor conditions, and mandatory use of personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, harnesses, and ear plugs. • Install, repair, maintain, and calibrate electronic equipment and gauges. • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and engineering instructions. • Perform testing, analysis, and preventative maintenance on instrumentation to ensure accuracy. • Complete detailed reports for all tests, repairs, and installations. • Use and maintain required journeyman tools and associated power tools. • Apply electrical theory to wiring, connecting, and calibrating devices. • Adjust and verify performance of instruments using testing and measuring equipment. • Work on low‑ and high‑pressure tubing/piping systems safely. • Perform work at heights up to 300 ft with proper fall protection.

What You Bring

The role requires at least four years of instrumentation experience, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with precision instruments, tools, and both low- and high‑pressure tubing/piping systems. Required certification includes NCCER Industrial Instrumentation Fitter, and ZACHRY is committed to a safe, drug‑free, equal‑opportunity workplace. • Operate outdoors in various weather conditions while wearing required PPE. • Hold NCCER Industrial Instrumentation Fitter certification.
