Technical Quoting Specialist

About the Role

In this role the specialist will generate and manage technical quotations for prospective clients, ensuring accurate cost estimations and timely support for customer inquiries while coordinating with internal departments. • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand scope and requirements. • Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and quotes compliant with company policies and industry standards. • Collaborate with sales, operations, and engineering teams to deliver optimal customer solutions. • Maintain a quotation database in Salesforce for analytical reporting. • Manage multiple customer accounts and quotation requests simultaneously. • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive support.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent experience), has at least two years of technical experience in the electrical or automation sector, and can interpret engineering drawings and specifications with minimal assistance. • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience. • 2+ years of technical experience in electrical or automation industries. • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, bills of materials, and specifications. • Experience quoting electrical panels or distribution systems (considered an asset). • Strong organizational, time‑management and multitasking abilities. • Customer‑facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and working knowledge of ERP (SAP) and CRM (Salesforce) systems. • Eligible to work in Canada without requiring company sponsorship.

Benefits

The position offers a hybrid work schedule at the Langley facility with a salary range of $75 000 – $100 000 CAD, and requires candidates to be eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
