About the Role

The role involves inspecting and repairing company equipment such as trucks, trailers, mini excavators, and generators, conducting road tests, placing parts orders, maintaining records, completing digital work and expense reports, and keeping tools and workstations organized. • Inspect and repair trucks, line trucks, trailers, mini excavators, and generators safely and cost‑effectively. • Perform road tests and operational checks to verify repair quality. • Complete work orders and expense reports digitally on an iPad. • Prioritize projects to meet deadlines and maintain clean, organized workstations. • Conduct tune‑ups, hydraulic and air brake jobs, basic wiring, and welding tasks. • Service Vermeer/Ditch Witch drills, plows, mix systems, and aerial units such as Altec, POSI Plus, Versa Lift, and Terex.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates are safety‑focused, have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license (CDL a plus), and a DOT medical card. They bring extensive experience with heavy‑truck and equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, brake jobs, basic wiring, welding, and familiarity with specific brands like Vermeer, Ditch Witch, Altec, POSI Plus, Versa Lift, and Terex. • Maintain certifications: high school diploma, valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), DOT medical card, and safety knowledge. • Communicate effectively, work independently with precise hand‑eye coordination, and meet vision standards for distance judgment.
