About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance operations—including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks—under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, and contributes to the make‑ready process aligned with the property’s objectives. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance on community areas, buildings, and units. • Respond promptly to resident and management work orders. • Assist with scheduling and execution of turn‑around (make‑ready) events. • Maintain exterior grounds, breezeways, common areas, and swimming pool, including chemical logging. • Conduct daily inspections to identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Follow Asset Living policies, OSHA, EPA, and safety standards; keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked. • Support hazard communication, inventory monitoring, and record‑keeping of service requests and maintenance activities. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and work overtime as needed. • Maintain reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.
