About the Role

As part of the Food & Beverage Department, the attendant will be responsible for opening and closing the ice‑cream room each day and maintaining the assigned stations with snacks, candies, and beverages, helping to create the signature Discovery Land experience for members and colleagues. Key duties include ensuring the ice‑cream room meets all sanitation and safety standards, controlling food temperatures, stocking and restocking comfort stations, performing light housekeeping, monitoring product expirations, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly. • Open and close the ice cream room daily. • Keep stations neat, organized, and stocked with snacks, candies, and beverages. • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations at all times. • Maintain proper temperature control and handle food safely. • Perform daily stocking and restocking of comfort stations. • Conduct light housekeeping: sweep, clean counters, dispose of garbage, and monitor expirations. • Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to supervisors. • Conduct inventory of station items as requested. • Respond promptly to guest and member requests. • Follow opening and closing standard operating procedures accurately. • Attend department meetings and training sessions. • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and long shifts as needed. • Collaborate effectively in a team environment and stay calm during busy periods.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high‑school diploma or equivalent, possess knowledge of local food‑safety regulations, and be able to obtain a State Food Safety Certificate.
