About the Role

As a Senior Scheduler, Project Controls supporting our Water & Wastewater team in Calgary, Vancouver or Toronto, you will shape the delivery of infrastructure that sustains communities. You will bring clarity, predictability and structure to projects, ensuring safe, sustainable water systems for generations. The role partners with cross‑functional business sectors to identify risks, constraints and opportunities. You will develop, maintain and manage master schedules, establish baselines, milestones and change‑control processes, and keep the Work Breakdown Structure and resource budgets up to date in Primavera P6. Changes to the baseline will be assessed, reported and recovery plans created to minimize slippages. Regular earned‑value analysis, schedule risk assessments, delay‑claim reviews and preparation of internal and external project reports are also key duties. Additionally, you will support bids and proposals, review contract documents, and ensure project deliverables meet requirements. • Develop, maintain, and manage master schedules for engineering and construction projects. • Establish schedule baselines, milestones, and change‑control processes. • Maintain Work Breakdown Structure and resource budgets using Primavera P6. • Assess schedule changes, produce recovery plans, and minimize slippages. • Conduct schedule risk assessments and regular earned‑value analysis. • Prepare internal and external project health reports and variance analyses. • Review delay claims, contract documents, and support bid and proposal preparation.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has 10 years of progressive scheduling experience in engineering, construction or a comparable sector and holds a post‑secondary diploma or degree, preferably in project management, finance or business. Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project or similar tools, and a solid understanding of Earned Value Management and multidisciplinary project interdependencies are required. Experience with large, multi‑phase, multi‑stakeholder programs, a proactive problem‑solving approach and a passion for creating clarity are essential. Oracle ERP knowledge is an asset. • 10+ years progressive scheduling experience in engineering or construction. • Post‑secondary diploma or degree, preferably in project management, finance or business. • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and understanding of EVM. • Strong grasp of multidisciplinary project interdependencies and large multi‑phase programs. • Proactive, solution‑oriented approach to schedule development and problem‑solving. • Oracle ERP experience is an asset.
