About the Role

The position offers a client‑facing environment with responsibility for delivering dam engineering projects, business development, and proposal preparation. The manager will also provide technical support—including analyses, design, failure mode assessments, risk assessments, site inspections, construction observation, and regulatory compliance—for various hydraulic structures. • Build and maintain project schedules, managing resources, budgets, and risk. • Plan and execute field investigations for hydraulic structures and embankments. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on dam and hydraulic projects. • Conduct quality reviews of design calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications. • Mentor and guide junior engineering staff. • Travel to project sites as needed, maintaining flexibility.

What You Bring

• BS in Civil Engineering with coursework in geotechnical, structural, or hydrology/hydraulics; 6+ years relevant experience. • Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one state or pass PE exam within six months of hire. • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle records review. • U.S. citizenship required. • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred). • Experience with dam rehabilitation, design, or construction (preferred). • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams (preferred). • Completion of Managing AECOM Projects training and PM certification (preferred). • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Project, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Procore, or e‑Builder (preferred). • Strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred).
