About the Role

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing and resident relations at a property, including daily on‑site attendance, showing units, qualifying prospects, completing lease paperwork, and moving residents in. The role also involves maintaining prospect data, executing marketing strategies, handling resident complaints, and assisting with retention programs and office upkeep. • Show, lease and move in prospective residents, including qualifying and touring the community. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, conduct tours and maintain model units. • Complete all leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs and turnover processes. • Enter prospect traffic and leasing data promptly, responding to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios and meet leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks and maintain cleanliness of office, common areas and model units. • Address resident complaints, concerns and requests to ensure satisfaction. • Help develop and execute resident retention programs such as events, promotions and newsletters. • Assist in implementing the annual marketing plan and conducting ongoing market surveys and analysis. • Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge of the property, competition and market conditions. • Deliver excellent customer service and monitor service‑request response times. • Represent the community positively to achieve property objectives and public recognition. • Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor.

Benefits

Compensation is $18‑$20 per hour with a total rewards package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) matching, commissions, performance bonuses, paid sick days and holidays. The position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb and working varied hours.
