About the Role
The role involves installing, maintaining, and operating a variety of wired, wireless, fiber‑optic, and microwave telecom equipment. You will work on tower and antenna installations, material handling, site preparation, and assist with complex erection methods such as helicopters, cranes, and gin poles. • Install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecommunications equipment. • Follow MasTec health, safety, and environmental policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI). • Climb towers and ladders, erect various tower types, and off‑load material and inventory. • Prepare and clean sites; install new carriers on new‑build and existing towers. • Assist in tower erection using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles; assemble monopoles, weld and knock‑down towers. • Install antennas (microwave parabolic, VHF, UHF, cellular, FM broadcast) and transmission lines (coaxial, hardline, waveguide). • Perform foundations, grounding, conduit, and electrical installations where applicable. • Mentor less‑experienced technicians.

What You Bring
Successful candidates are safety‑focused, have at least four years of tower experience, and hold a high school diploma. They must be able to read technical prints, lift 50 lb, work up to 12 hours, possess a valid driver’s license, and preferably hold a PWSA certification. • Minimum high school diploma and at least 4 years tower experience. • Ability to read and follow printed instructions. • Working knowledge of safety standards; PWSA certification is a plus. • Capable of climbing towers, lifting 50 lb, and working up to 12 hours. • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. • Safety‑focused, quality‑driven, problem‑solver who enjoys hands‑on teamwork.
