About the Role

• Perform site surveys evaluating current electrical and mechanical conditions and create designs to upgrade, replace, or install new electrical infrastructures from utility and generator inputs to a data room floor distribution based on customer requirements. • Use modern project management tools and techniques to design and execute projects related to engineering, procurement, and construction of electrical power system modifications. • Lead modernization projects related to electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution with a focus on critical power systems. • Deliver projects with professionalism and safety, leveraging knowledge of industrial and utility power distribution equipment, power system engineering, critical power systems, and construction safety. • Assume full responsibility for assigned projects, overseeing them from inception through scope development, planning, execution, and resource management. • Establish clear cost, quality, and schedule objectives and ensure their successful completion. • Provide technical leadership to district sales and service teams. • Manage and direct a team on awarded projects for electrical equipment, including design and installation of transformers, switchgear, switchboards, distribution systems, data floors, PDUs, UPS, motor control centers, ATS, generators, rotating equipment, and AC drives. • Own and maintain all assigned projects, ensuring customer expectations and contract requirements are met. • Prepare, submit, and manage change orders between customer and Eaton. • Communicate scope of work and responsibilities among Eaton customers, employees, and suppliers/sub‑contractors.

What You Bring

The position requires the ability to travel within and outside the US without restrictions, possess a valid unrestricted driver’s license, and be able to obtain security clearance for military and government sites. Candidates must reside in the Central/Midwest, Southeast, or Northeastern United States. Eaton does not sponsor immigration or work authorization for this role. • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of project management experience on large electrical projects (or associate degree with 4 years, or high school diploma with 6 years) focusing on mission‑critical applications. • Valid unrestricted driver’s license. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally without restrictions. • Ability to obtain access to military and government sites and acquire a security clearance. • Residence in the Central/Midwest, Southeast, or Northeastern United States. • BS in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Construction. • Retired military background. • Proficiency with Primavera and/or MS Project. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. • Knowledge of data center construction. • Working knowledge of packaged equipment solutions. • Technical experience in electrical, mechanical, structural, or civil construction techniques. • Familiarity with EM385 Army Corps of Engineers requirements. • Quality control certifications or experience. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to obtain a government security clearance.

The role is fully remote with up to 50% travel, and the annual salary range is $93,750.03‑$137,500.04 plus a variable incentive program.
