About the Role

Core responsibilities include safely navigating to project sites, driving long distances, working in inclement weather when needed, and being respectful to clients. The crew chief is accountable for all assigned equipment, verifies job completion before leaving the field, upholds company values, and uses Microsoft Office and Teams to store files and communicate. • Safely drive long distances to project locations. • Operate TSC3 and TSC7 survey equipment. • Perform construction layout tasks such as building, parking, utilities staking, and boundary surveys. • Use Trimble R8/R10 units, level loops, and establish benchmarks. • Run OPUS Solution calculations with Civil 3D. • Maintain and account for all assigned equipment. • Verify job completion before leaving the field. • Communicate and share files using Microsoft Office and Teams. • Work in inclement weather when required. • Uphold RRC’s core values and promote a positive team environment.

Required experience includes prior Party/Crew Chief roles operating TSC3 and TSC7, construction layout (building, parking, utilities staking, and boundary surveys), and proficiency with Trimble R8/R10, level loops, and benchmark establishment. Ability to run OPUS Solution calculations in Civil 3D is also needed.
