About the Role
In the Assembly Technician role you will assemble, wire, and modify medium‑ and high‑voltage indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, power modules and related sub‑assemblies. You will follow manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and supervisor instructions, completing ISO, quality, customer and production checklists as required. Tasks include mounting and installing electrical equipment, performing wire operations, lifting heavy copper parts, reporting Kanban inventory shortages, inspecting assemblies for hardware and cleanliness, and responding to change notices and customer adjustments. You will also assist engineering, drafting and supervision on development work and train colleagues to ensure skill transfer. • Assemble, wire, and modify medium/high voltage assemblies, breakers, power modules, and related sub‑assemblies. • Interpret manufacturing information, electrical/mechanical drawings, sketches, and supervisor instructions. • Complete ISO, quality, customer, and production checklists and feedback forms. • Mount and install electrical equipment; perform wire operations. • Lift and assemble heavy copper parts; report Kanban inventory shortages. • Inspect assemblies for missing hardware and cleanliness. • Address change notices, customer‑requested adjustments, and development needs. • Support engineering, drafting, and supervision on customer‑initiated development work. • Train and coach colleagues to transfer knowledge and develop skills. • Utilize hand and air tools, step ladders, and cranes in a Lean environment.

What You Bring
The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of industrial manufacturing experience, and the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship. Candidates must reside within 50 mi of Greenwood, SC (active‑duty military exempt), possess strong communication, persuasive and analytical problem‑solving skills, and be willing to work flexible hours and overtime. Proficiency with hand and air tools, standard computer programs such as Outlook/Teams, and the ENOVIA system is also required. • Use Microsoft Outlook/Teams and ENOVIA job‑specific software. • Hold a high school diploma or GED. • Minimum one year of industrial manufacturing experience. • Able to work in the U.S. without corporate sponsorship. • Reside within 50 mi of Greenwood, SC (active‑duty military exempt). • Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive and analytical problem‑solving abilities. • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.
