Senior Planner - Primavera P6

About the Role
You will work within capital delivery, collaborating with project teams and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the simultaneous delivery of multiple water and water‑recycling projects within the AMP8 programme. The role ensures project governance procedures—including risk, cost and change control—are followed and works across the business to deliver projects. You will manage the planning function on allocated projects or tenders, developing, monitoring and controlling robust schedules. You will support project teams to deliver medium to high‑complexity projects profitably, on time, and aligned with wider programme and business objectives. • Manage planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 and Earned Value Management techniques. • Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders. • Influence client decisions and present proposals and corrective measures. • Lead and develop a team of planning professionals. • Ensure compliance with project governance, risk, cost, and change control procedures. • Support net‑zero carbon transition by identifying and managing carbon emissions. • Integrate programme, cost and risk data to drive planning assurance.
